I received my Bachelor of Arts in music and education from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI in 1988 three years after marrying my first husband, Sam. For seventeen years I enjoyed directing choirs and teaching music. In the midst of this we had two children, but in their early years Sam was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. Early on in this journey While raising my family I entered seminary, where I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. I graduated from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in 2015. I look forward to working with you.
